CHED Memorandum Order (CMO) No. 86, s. 2017 introduces the “Policies, Standards, and Guidelines for Requirements Common to all Bachelor of Science in Engineering and Bachelor of Engineering Technology Programs” in the Philippines. These guidelines outline criteria for curriculum development, faculty qualifications, facilities, student support services, assessment methods, and industry collaborations applicable to all engineering and engineering technology programs. The memorandum aims to ensure consistency and quality across engineering education, preparing graduates with the necessary skills and knowledge to contribute effectively to the engineering profession and meet the demands of industry and society.
