On October 29, 2001, the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) issued Memorandum Order No. 35, Series of 2001, which provides the Implementing Guidelines for the National Veterinary Admission Test (NVAT). This order establishes protocols for administering and assessing the standardized test for prospective veterinary students in the Philippines. The guidelines cover the test format, content, eligibility, registration, administration, scoring, and oversight responsibilities by relevant educational authorities. The NVAT aims to enhance the selection process for veterinary colleges and ensure the quality of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) graduates.
