CMO No. 30, S. 2021, delineates the policies, standards, and guidelines pertinent to CMO No. 46, s. 2012, which mandates the transition to competency-based standards and outcomes-based education for graduates of Bachelor of Science in Customs Administration programs. This mandate applies universally across all types of higher education institutions (HEIs). Acknowledging the diverse typologies of HEIs and their respective missions, this PSG (Program Standards and Guidelines) affords HEIs the flexibility to innovate within their curricula. Such innovation should be aligned with their specific contexts and aimed at effectively achieving the prescribed learning outcomes.
