On September 15, the FEU Public Policy Center (FEU PPC), in partnership with the Philippine Institute for Development Studies (PIDS) through the Socioeconomic Research Portal for the Philippines (SERP-P) Network, brought together students, researchers, policymakers, and development practitioners for a timely conversation on education, skills development, labor markets, and the future of work.

WATCH THE FORUM HERE.

The forum featured Prof. Alexis Antoniades of Georgetown University, who shared international perspectives on labor economics, skills, human capital, and the future of work, alongside Dr. Michael M. Alba, who presented evidence from FEU PPC on higher education, student outcomes, and labor market readiness in the Philippines.

The discussions were further enriched by local insights from policy and education experts, including Mr. Hanibal Camua of Philippine Business for Education (PBEd).

We extend our sincere gratitude to PIDS and the SERP-P Network, our speakers, panelists, moderators, partners, and everyone who joined us and contributed to the conversation.

Most importantly, thank you to all the students, researchers, educators, policymakers, and practitioners who continue to engage in evidence-based discussions on how we can strengthen human capital, improve labor market outcomes, and build institutions that support productive, inclusive, and resilient employment.

Together, we continue to ask the important questions—and work toward evidence-based answers.
