The Commission on Higher Education encourages Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) to offer extension classes to provide quality education for Filipino students. CO No. 26 s. 1995 defined extension classes conducted in the main campus except otherwise specified by the Government Permit to Operate a Program and for Foreign educational institutions to be held in the home campus duly recognized by the government or its equivalent in their home country. It further provides implementing guidelines, processes, and required documents to be complied with by the HEIs for the full implementation of the order.
