The FEU Public Policy Center (FEU PPC), in collaboration with the UP Center for Integrative and Development Studies (UP CIDS) and the Private Education Assistance Committee (PEAC), will hold a seminar that will focus on the economic bases of regulating higher education.

This will be the first of a series of six seminars that seeks to examine the regulation of higher education in the Philippines, which is part of a broader research initiative supported by the UP President Edgardo J. Angara (UPPEJA) Fellowship and led by DR. MICHAEL M. ALBA, President of FEU PPC. It aims to foster evidence-based dialogue on policy, funding, and regulatory issues in the sector, and contribute to the policy agenda of the Second Congressional Commission on Education (EDCOM II).
Joining Dr. Alba are experts who will form our panel:

Each seminar features a research presentation, panel responses, and an open forum. This series brings higher education regulation into focus as a policy issue that affects institutions, students, and the future of the sector.
The first seminar will be held this 30 July 2025 (Wednesday) at 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the FEU Makati Mini Theater.
